Why is the Facebook app for iPad so lame ??

Can't edit my status after I post it. Or can I ?

What is with the contacts on the right side that takes up a third of the screen. Is there a way to get rid of that ?

You don't have to use the app. I mostly use it in the browser.

Yup, Facebook mobile apps are very lame and boring. I actually uninstalled the mobile app totally, waste of space. I am very frankly to say that pretty much only reason to keep my facebook account is to be included in events and those rare photos of friends I would like to see.
