Facebook Check In Issue

Recently when I have attempted to Check In at a business the Facebook app is reporting "no nearby places". The businesses ARE listed, as they show up on friends iPhones. Oddly, Facebook is reporting my location on the map correctly.

Things I have tried:
Closing and reopening the Facebook app
deleting and reinstalling the Facebook app
toggling the enable location for Facebook app
rebooting my phone

I'm on an IP4s running iOS6 and the current version of Facebook.

I'm stumped, any help is appreciated.

Thx, that explains some things....

I put my sim in my GNEX and encountered the same issue, also in my iPad. I thought I was going crazy because 4 of my employees have smartphones and Facebook check in is working for all of them.

It's your location settings. Go to settings>privacy>location settings> facebook and make sure switch is turned on
