    Default Amazon instant video app issue

    As the app for amazon instant video was announced today, I downloaded it on my iPad 2. I tried my videos as well as the free prime videos and all failed with a message stating unable to play on this device. I emailed amazon support and received this reply

    I'm so sorry that you have been unable to enjoy our Amazon Instant Video service on your iPad.

    From the error message that you provided, it appears your device has been jail-broken. We are unable to provide any troubleshooting for your device.

    You will need to contact the site or person where you received the jail-break for your device.

    We look forward to seeing you again soon.

    So it appears that a jail broken device doesn't allow you to use this app. I may unjailbreak on iPad just because I really don't use anything jb on it.

    I am getting the same message on my iPad 2, but I'm not jailbroken...

    Weird....I'd hate to have to do fresh install just to get this app to work...
