Ever tried to capture a lightning strike with an iPhone?
    Failed? Broke your finger?

    Try the app 'iLightningcam 3.6' for iPhone 4, 4S, iPad2 or iPad3
    iLightningCam for iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPod touch (4th generation), iPad 2 Wi-Fi, iPad 2 Wi-Fi + 3G, iPad (3rd generation) and iPad Wi-Fi + 4G on the iTunes App Store

First ever real-time lightning photography and ISO control with iPhone 4 and 4S

The first and best ever photo app that enables everyone to take spectacular pictures of a real lighting flashes and strikes with an iPhone!

Check our iPhone lightning strike picture gallery with original shots

or watch our YouTube Video !

iLightningCam uses true real-time recognition of lightning strikes. Once recognized, your iPhone takes a picture of the recognized lightning.

And yes - your iPhone is fast enough!

You only need a good view on a real thunderstorm.

The app works free hand. Just point your iPhone towards the scene/part of the sky/thunderstorm where you expect the next lightning, start the app iLightningCam, choose video or photo mode and wait, the app will automatically press the trigger/shutter if a lightning is detected in your view.

    ISO control???
During night lightning strikes are too bright for a reasonable exposure. We introduce the first ever ISO control for iPhones. See the attached example image, ISO 250, exposure time 1/20, night, lightning over Vienna last week.. Without ISO control(ISO 800 during night) the complete image image would be white.

The app costs only 79 cents for now, you can test the lite version with the sparks of a lighter if no lighnting is nearby ....

    cool shots
