This is for the educators. I received some PR about this app that is to help with classroom observations and I was just wondering what the teachers (looking at you Alli!) thought of it. It's expensive, at $50, but they have a bulk purchasing program for schools. From what I can gather, the app is for administration to use when evaluating teachers. I teach college and am not familiar with the K-12 system, so am a bit at loss with this app.

So, to those who teach K-12, what are your thoughts?

In our system, there are forms for administrators to use. One for "snapshot" visits, and one for full observation. I've turned both forms into PDF's so that the admins with iPads can import them into CaptureNotes, Notability, or any of the other dozen or so apps that allow you to write on pdfs, save them, and send them (to the teacher who was observed).

We're still working on a similar solution for Android. I see no reason to spend that kind of money on an app that does no more than the form most systems probably already use.
