    Default Marvel Comics on iPad

Has anyone tried to read the updated Marvel Comics on the retina display? They are stunning - what an amazing difference and I always thought they looked great on the iPad 2.

Both the Comixology apps (Comics, Marvel, DC, Image, etc.) and the Marvel Comics inside iBooks are *gorgeous*. I have Absolute Sandman, Dark Knight, Watchman, Planetary, etc. and a bunch of Marvel Hardcovers sitting on my shelf here and the iPad versions are finally their equal -- and backlit!

    Amazing.

(Still which they were a tad cheaper, had bundles like the tradepaperbacks, and larger collections!)

Can you get them easily over the marvel app? Or do you download them on special sites?

If you already have a bunch of digital comics, like I bought a bunch of the huge DVD PDF sets Marvel put out many years ago, Comic Zeal is a great way to view them on your iPad.

I downloaded it the other day and blew through like $50 worth of comics! They look great and I love being able to download them the second I'm done with the previous one.
