Moving Apps between phones

Just got a 4s but didn't get all my apps off the 3Gs. Some are no longer available. Can I move an app from one phone to the other? To a new iPad?

Sync your 4s to the same computer with which you were syncing the 3GS - restore from the last backup of the 3GS and you should have everything.
