Beware, it erases all your favorites, history, etc. You might want to email those from in app to yourself first.

Oops..forget that. Tell it take you home and now it's populated with all my saved destinations, recents, etc. Can't use itunes to update. Done from phone.

You have to download maps from your iOS device first. Then sync to itunes. I wouldn't do this update if you're out and about and don't have access to wifi.

My favorites stayed... showed up after restarting the app after install.

I updated in iTunes fine for the app... then you have to install maps via wifi from the device...

Navigon is catching A LOT of unwarranted bad reviews from stupid people that didn't bother to read the directions before installing, and they're getting a lot of crap about map updates... people are not reading the details on that either and getting bent because they don't understand something they didn't bother to read about before venting with a bad review.
