    Default Pandora question...

I have Pandora on my iPhone and computers. When I had it on my former Droid, there was a menu option to stop it completely. There doesn't seem to be such an option on the iPhone. Does putting it on pause and hitting the home button enough to completely shut it down or do I need to do something else to assure it's completely shut off?

there has been some debate about this very same situation and the consensus was that putting it on pause was satisfactory but sometimes i will take it a step further. this can be achieved by clicking the home button twice to bring up the multitasking tray, then press & hold the pandora app and select the '-' to kill the app

according to Apple, their multitasking system does not allow apps to run in the background but keeps them in a saved state

of course if you're jailbroken there are many ways to do it as well. hope this helps
