Maybe it would if the slide to unlock was hidden? I have this on my iP4 now thanks to an app in Cydia.

True, but the point that I was trying to make is that if it can be done by JB, maybe it could be done via stock as well?

Oh, I gotcha. But no, Apple doesn't let anything do that; it's only an option if you jb.

there are a lot of pointless apps out there, which is why people should be reading the whole description before they hit the purchase button.
