iPhone alarm app question

If I'm not mistaken, if the alarm clock app on the iphone goes off and you receive a text or any popup notification, it disables the alarm, which is very dangerous for me, because I would hate to have my alarm stopped by a pop notification when I have to be up. Please correct me if I'm wrong. If this is the case, does anyone know any alarm apps that aren't interrupted by anything outside of manually stopping or snoozing it yourself? Thanks in advance.

Notifications won't interfere with the built in alarm. Only 3rd party alarm apps.

Is it that the alarm stops after some time on its own?

Entropy. Everything stops eventually.

Is there an alarm app that does not possess this characteristic of entropy and will continue to ring until I MANUALLY stop it?
