Dungeon Hunter Deux Issues

I recently purchased Dungeon Hunter II for my 3Gs. Played the first one on Android and loved it so I had to get it. I've run into a problem twice now while attempting to play it though. I'm jailbroken and run biteSMS and the last two times I've tried playing, I received a text and the resulting popup froze my whole iPhone! I had to force a reboot both times. The first time I answered the text and after sending it my phone froze. The second time I simply closed the quick reply box in the hopes it wouldn't cause the same problem but to no avail.
Has anyone else had this happen to them or am I just suffering from my normal case of bad luck?

I get no freeze issues on my 3gs, but am not jailbroken. I've received and responded to texts while playing, but of course with the native messaging app, there's a different interaction.

BUMP so the JB users get another chance to see.
