Garageband for iPad 1?

LOL That's what I was afraid of...my son thinks he *must* have Garageband...which means I would get a new iPad 2 and he would get my 1st gen...cuz that's how it works when Mom writes the check. I'm in no hurry to spend the money and am perfectly happy with my iPad, so I'll wait and see.
