CoPilot Live

I have the CoPilot Live app and i think its great but
How do you turn it off? It says its going to close down but doesn?t and it runs in the background and runs the battery down.
Can anyone help?

Double tap the home button. When your fast switch bar shows up, tap and hold the CoPilot icon until it starts to jiggle, and then click the x to close it. Then tap the home button again.
