FlytoMap GPS Map Navigator or other?

Hi there,

Can anybody tell me which app is best for my iphone and should be useful for all recreational activities because I'm planning for vacations next week! My friend insists to try flytomap GPS.

Any wise suggestions would be deeply appreciated!
