Does the Home Share feature allow me to stream my iTunes media to my iPad/iPhone from my pc?

I'm no expert but I just tried the Remote with my iPad and I was able to control iTunes, but only on the computer. I saw no way to stream iTunes content to my iPad with this app.

I've had the Remote app for a while but I honestly never used it until this last update. I must say, it's pretty cool.

Also I never used (enabled) Homeshare before so maybe I was just hoping this would be a cool new feature they added.
