"Memory Pro" and "iStat" on iPhone 4

Hi. If I check with the two apps in the title the total amount of RAM is 256 mb. The same on other 3 iPhone 4 of friends. Is this linked to something that needs to be upgraded in the applications after the iOS 4.1??

iStat isn't even updated for iOS 4.0 so it doesn't know how much memory the iPhone 4 has. As for memory pro I don't know, doesn't look like it is really designed for the iPhone 4 being that it has a large amount of memory, there are also several bad reviews of it running on iOS 4.
