Just released this app! It's uses the iPhone camera as well as the accelerometer to take perfectly horizontal or vertical pictures. It also removes the toolbar at the bottom of the camera so that you can see the whole image as you take it. You can also tap anywhere on the screen to take a picture instead of the small button at the bottom of the normal camera app.
Took a while to figure out how to use the camera and accelerometer together, but I finally figured it out. Let me know what you think! Please review the app if you like it!
