VEMPIRE for iPhone and iPod touch has just been released.
Following are some info about the game.
At its heart VEMPIRE is a puzzle game in which the player has to rotate squares of blocks (clockwise or counter-clockwise) with the aim to create rows or columns of 4 of more blocks of the same type. When this happens those blocks are destroyed and more blocks falls from the top. The aim of each level is to delete enough blocks before the time runs out.
Blocks can be of various types. Some are meaningless blocks; others represent mana energy of different colours or money. Money collected during the game can be spent in the shop to buy new creatures to summon during the game. There are levels where it is easier to collect money, others in which there will be more green mana etc.
Doing mana combos the player can summon creatures that will help the player delete the blocks. The game features 6 different creatures that the player has to unlock spending money in the shop.
The game features 10 worlds. Each world is divided in 4 levels. Finishing the first three unlocks the fourth and also the next world. The fourth level of each world is mandatory, but if the player finishes it he gains a special artefact he can equip at the start of a new level. Up to 4 artefacts of the 9 present in game can be equipped at once.
These artefacts give the player various powers, like slowing down time, turning the blocks into mana he needs etc.
Each game world is owned by a boss monster. This monster will appear every once in a while and will cast a nasty spell against the player making the completion of a level harder.
