So I set up IM+ to use with yahoo messenger so that I can communicate with my wife on her blackberry. I sent a contact request to her, but for some reason it's not going through. Does anyone here have any experience on setting up IM+ to use with yahoo messenger? If so, what steps did you take?

Yes, I've seen this with Yahoo.
I actually had to accept the request on the desktop computer application.
From there on out, that person was in my buddy list.

Of course my experience is strictly from the iPhone side, I have no idea how it works with the BB.

GoogleTalk may be a better solution. Its utterly reliable. I know it works with Blackeberrys because a friend has one and what ever app he uses works perfectly.

Must be accepted on the dekstop version of Yahoo like above poster said, then you'll be set.
