App Store login question....

When I open the App Store on my phone, it asks me to type my password immediately. I noticed last night that my wife's phone does not do this. I've gone through the settings and searched this forum, but can't seem to find an answer. Any suggestions?

It may be that you have updates waiting to download.

If you ask me, it sucks having to type that damn password all the time. I wish there was an option.

I like it so no one can download this on my iPhone.

I don't mind typing my password when I am about to download an app, just hate typing it in when I just wanna look. And I'm 100% sure it's not a an update, I'm always looking out for those!
