Leanna Rocky Mountain High! Great review - btw - there is an option to "Tweet without Confirmation" in settings for one-tap tweet. And Google Maps was a hack in iPhone 2.x - I've been reluctant to add stuff that might get the app rejected, the good news: iPhone 3.0 has full support for Google Maps!

Excellent review @llofte!
@twittelator is correct, there is an option to disable the send tweet confirmation and that can be toggled in the settings.
I totally agree with you in the searching of contacts when adding a user name to a tweet. This is something that Twitterfon has implemented very nicely.
One thing that I didn't like at first was the navigation around the tweet itself. Since I don't ever (and I mean ever) read directions, I found some of the tweet nagivation (retweet, user profile, hash tags, etc) to be counter intuitive. I have switched from Tweetie to Twittelator and really liked how Tweetie handled information within the tweets. Tapping on the tweet would open it up and any user name, hash tag or link would act like a hyperlink. I hope that Twittelator would consider adding this feature.

Great review. This is my favorite Twitter app. It does so much. Once you get used to how to use and navigate to all the features that it has, it's even better. I had been using Tweetie, but picked this up a few days ago and have been loving it ever since.

Awesome review (wish I saw it sooner), thanks. Been thinking about another Twitter client. For some reason Twitterific always opens me at the main screen and not my timeline anymore and it's annoying. Heard lots of good things about this client, maybe I'll give it a go.

Thanks Alli. I have about 6 Twitter apps. Tweetie and TwitterFon being the two I use regularly. But I keep reading about the Twittelator app and I'm very curious. I like the pictures of the UI and find myself so tempted to get it. But I keep getting stuck at the $5 sticker price.

Thanks for your in depth review llofte. I ended up buying this last night and your review helped me figure out how to use some of the features.
I love this app. So far my favorite feature is the ability to see a thumbnail of a picture within the tweet itself. Awesome!

I currently have both Twittelator Pro and and Twitterfon Pro, both latest versions. I personally like Twitterfon better because it starts up super fast, while twittelator takes a little bit of time to start up(30 seconds with loading). Also, with twittelator you have the option to load 20,40, 60 or whatever tweets on startup. the problem is that if you pick 20 for example, it'll only load the latest 20 even if there's 20+ unread, and the more you choose to load on startup, the longer it takes to load. My favorite thing on Twittelator is the tweet shortener, it's awesome in every way and I wish Twitterfon had this. These are the only two things that kind of bother me, I'm kind of impatient so the very quick load/start up time in twitterfon wins me over. Both are great Twitter apps, for the same price (i think?). Look up both and compare.

Well, I have some favorites as well. SimplyTweet, Twitterific Premium, and Twittelator Pro. They are all good. And look out for the next release of Landscape Tweeting. Gonna be real good.
And good review, btw too.Gimme a vector, Victor. I'm coming home. Roger, Roger. Huh?
