"Hot Dog Down a Hallway" delivers exactly the challenge that the title promises: launch a hot dog down a hallway filled with traps and creatures that are intent on destroying your wiener before it can go the distance. Beyond the kid‐friendly yet adult‐oriented jokes, ?Hot Dog? adds a new spin to distance‐shooting game by allowing the player control over the object in flight. Tilting the iPhone rotates the dog out of harm?s way or gives it a little bounce off of non‐lethal obstacles.
As if the title isn?t enough to draw a dollar from most curious users? pockets, the game also features an addictive achievement system, in which only the names of the achievements are revealed beforehand. It?s up to the clever player to figure out what to do in order to get them. For example, collecting a floating glovalready wearing one earns the player the ?Double Bag It? achievement.
