Now Playing? Why?

My top 5 that are on my iPhone right now... I'd say:

Beejive IM - was not digging the $15.99 price tag but it really is worth the money.
Twitterriffic - free, works just as well as the paid version.
Spore - great game
MLB at Bat - great for baseball fans, especially now in the post season.
Now Playing - best app for movie trailers and theatre times.

These are my favorite apps at the moment...

Bad Ash....Why Now Playing? What makes Now Playing better than Showtimes and the other movie apps?

My favorite apps are:
Rogue - Great port! I hope someone ports Nethack as well.
X-Plane - Landing never gets old.
Topple - Still trying to finish level 9.
Galcon - Exactly what an iPhone game should be.
Tatomic - My favorite! But than again I am a little biased on this one. :)

SplashShopper - List software is essential for my mobile device.
Twitterrific - Screen name is jamesus if anyone wants to follow me!
Clowdy - Love people watching and this is a great app to view the world from everyone else's point of view.
MLB AtBat - Go Go White Sox
Facebook - Nice update they just released. Really digging it.

Update on mine:

Todo - App from Appigo to manage my vineyard...er...my To-Do's!
Twitterfon - Twitter client
Doppler - Google Reader client
SplashShopper - see above
Notebook - note syncing app from Appigo

There is definitely one that will be used, but as it was just released a few days ago, I cannot put it in my top 5 as of yet. The app I am referring to is the Kindle for iPhone app. I love my Kindle and use it everyday. I will most likely use this everyday as well.

you have to checkout the yadaSay language translator. Right now it translates between english and spanish / spanish to english and play the audiio in the proper dialect. You can save the phrases and email with a link to the audio. Do search on iTunes for yadaSay. Its only .99

Flashlight (should have come with the phone)
Video Safe (also should have come with the phone)
Shazam (this also should have come with the phone, but hey at least we don't have to pay for it)

Rest of the 3rd party app is pretty much PoS.

I haven't gotten my iPhone yet (that occurs in a couple of weeks) but this thread has been extremely useful to me. I appreciate everyone's input as to what apps I can consider for my iPhone.
