Is there any way to create local folders (for a POP3 account) in the iPhone mail program? I have 100+ emails in my inbox, and they need some organization. It's a real hassle to scroll through the entire list to find the handful of, say, "online bill" emails that I'm interested in.

Actually it's not a feature of POP3 or IMAP. It's a feature of the program that you use to read your email. My 4-year-old Treo 650 has it. The MacOSX mail program has it. Why not the iPhone?

oh, I see what your asking for. It's sync'd folders from mail.app or I GUESS outlook. But it doesn't seem to be a locally added thing.

I've not figured out how to do this with the native app, but with Mobile Me you can create folders on line. They will automatically show up on that particular email account. Just click on the left side of the MM mail screen and fill in the name of the folder.
