does anyone know if there is a web app for the iPhone that will allow you to take pictures and send them in a text message to another phone?
for now the only option that i know of is to send them through an e mail . . .
here are the addresses for the providers:
Alltel = xxxxxxxxxx@message.alltel.com
AT&T = xxxxxxxxxx@mms.att.net
Boost Mobile = xxxxxxxxxx@myboostmobile.com

Come on Timebomb... give me some credit for using my post from another thread...
I'm just messing with ya...
And just to answer the question posted by the OP, no there are currently no web apps that will send picture mail. Like stated above email is your only way at the current time.
Its worth your time! I was disappointed when I learned about this so any help would be greatly appreciated!

that one for sprint doesn't work, I had to use @pm.sprint.com to email myself a pic
Another way to send (cough)MMS(cough) is to email the picture to XXXXXXXXXX@teleflip.com. This one isn't carrier specific and will translate the email into the carriers preferred method of MMS...
How does this work if you want to receive a MMS on your iPhone?
I'm a little confused still.

You have to have people send the MMS to your email address instead of your phone number. All there is to it. They will be able to send it to your email.
Where does that MMS show up though?
It will show up just like any other email you get on the phone.
Do you have to set that email up in Mail.app?
