I had a gold iPhone 128 and was thinking about going the iPhone plus route, but decided to settle on a mat black iPhone 7 32 and even with all my apps and pictures on the device, I still have 17 gig to spare.

That is more then sufficient for my needs, I don't play games and use my device as a camera or video recorder. Mainly a business phone so I am a happy camper.

Unless you need to keep a lot of pictures on your phone (or other stuff), I would base your decision more on the screen size rather than storage size. You can always move the pictures to a hard drive or other device, you can't increase the size of the screen without buying a new one.

I think you should say first the size of the iphone, before its capacity, handle the plus is not easy, it does not fit into any pocket, that depends on the use you are going to give the iphone. The size has its pro but also its cons

if you run out of storage with the 32, you could get extra iCloud storage or download your photos into your computer.

I got the 128. Will never come close to maxing it out bc I upgrade with every cycle but just in case.

    From your original question, i'd say if you take a lot of pictures with HDR enabled then the bigger capacity your iPhone the better...if the size of the plus isn't an issue for you then consider;
    - if you mainly look at the photos ON your phone, the Plus has a higher pixel density (401 vs. 326 ppi)
    - the Plus has a dual camera on the back (one wide-angle, one tele...I think), the 7 just has a single wide-angle
    - the larger storage option (both cases) will be faster in terms of read and write speeds than a lower storage option (i.e. 256GB is noticeably faster than 32GB)

    32GB is the new 16GB
Please do get 128 GB, with apps, games and it's data taking more space. Apart from music, pics (thumbnails cache), and videos 128gb will be a better option.

hmm, thats a tough one. I would say go for the 128GB then. Takes the stress away from wondering if you have enough or not.
That way, if you want to take some 1080p videos you can without thinking about your storage.

I'm a pretty heavy user, and I have a iPhone 6 Plus with 128 GB storage. It's perfect. I usually store a lot of videos and use a lot of apps. I would go for the 128 GB storage.

Two deciding factors as I see it. Phone size and memory size.

I learned the hard way that memory size becomes more important the longer you have the phone. Much more of a requirement than phone size.

That said, it the iPhone 7 size feels good in your hands and it has 128gb memory go for it.

If the iphone 7 plus feels better to you but has 32 gb memory and you can't afford the higher memory cost, but the size is very important, go for the 6s Plus with higher memory.

I chose the 6sPlus with 64gb of memory because I did not think the differences between the 6 and 7 was enough to justify the cost of the 7.

Glad I was able to confuse you but size is very important in memory and phone size.

I went with the size first and then the amount of storage. The reason being was because I wanted a decently big phone and 4.7 was a good size. I had the 6s+ and that was unwieldy for my tiny hands. The 7 feels so much better. Hell 5 inches would have been better too.

In terms of storage, I do take a lot of photos and receive a lot of photos plus take screen shots. I also store tons of app from MS office to infinity blade games. 128 was perfect. I actually only had 20gigs left on my 64gig 6s+.
