Ok, all Apple-hype aside...and fanboyism as well. I've waited until all the hoopla slowed down. Those of you who have upgraded from the iPhone 6s to the iPhone 7, tell the truth...is the better life of your new phone THAT MUCH better than the 6s?

I truly do get about 1 more hour. However either phone gets me through the day no problem

I'm seeing a HUGE difference, but to be fair I'm comparing a year-old 6s that had a battery showing wear to a brand new 7 with a fresh battery. But with my 6s it had to be charging by midday whereas with my 7 I don't have to think about topping it off until the afternoon. I do remember when I first got my 6s I was disappointed with the battery life and I do not feel that way with my 7.

I see a noticeable difference between my 6s Plus and 7 Plus as well, although it didn't get a huge a battery jump as the 7.

From my 6 (not S) to my 7, I am getting much worse battery times. With my 6 after a normal day I have about 80-85% remaining. On my 7 with same daily use I get about 65-75% remaining. I was expecting better life, not worse. But I have not tweaked many settings. Will have to play with them and see.

Wow, with all due respect if you are seeing 65-75% battery life at the end of the day (and certainly 80-85% with the 6) you are getting EXCELLENT battery life and/or clearly not doing much with your iPhone during the day! I use my iPhone constantly throughout the day for work and personal and I am always trickle charging whenever I can to get through the day. That being said, I am seeing a big difference in my 7 from my 6s... and I remember it getting worse from my 6 to my 6s a year ago...

Normally I would agree.. but I was supposed to get better battery life with the iPhone 7 not worse. So two months ago.. I was ending the day with 80-85% on my 6 (not S) and now with my 7 and same usage it's 65-75%. That's worse not better.

I'm getting approximately 2 hours more usage as promised. My 6s is gone, but I'm using about 25% less battery per day on my 7 vs. 6s.

My 7 can last me 2 days if I use lightly but if I'm using moderately to slightly heavy roughly a day , coming from a galaxy s5 I can say the battery is not as good as the s5 but I compared it with my sisters iPhone 6 and my battery seems better, one thing I notice is that Apple's battery cannot hold a charge on YouTube and heavy games (obviously)

I have the iPhone 7 256GB and I also have the Apple Battery Case, it takes 3 days until I need to charge my phone. I am an average user, not heavy nor light. I hate the size of the bigger phones so this is the best setup for me, an iPhone 7 with double battery life FTW

Bear in mind, that the A10 chip is supposed to use only 2 cores at lower frequencies when you are not using apps that need a lot of power so you got a lot of smart management going on in the OS itself for the iPhone 7 and iPhone7+
