    Default Screen protectors

I was kinda hesitant in having at&t put the invisible shield glass on mine after I saw a air bubble on my aunts (which he got out). I just wondered what people thoughts were on screen protectors

Going with the Belkin TrueClear that is sold by Apple when I get my phone. Apple installs them with a machine and I can tell you they fit perfect and look great. Was planning on Zagg but have been reading and hearing about issues with them.

    Default Screen protectors

I got a zagg glass+ put on my phone yesterday but I kept seeing air bubbles so I took it off. I am very paranoid about air bubbles. How many people uses screen protectors?

First, Welcome to iMore! Here is a picture of a friend of mines 7 Plus Jet Black with the Belkin Screen Protector. She and many of her coworkers tried the Zagg's and just were not happy. She is very particular about her devices and after research decided to give the Belkin a try. She had Apple Store install it and is in love with how well they did it and with the protector.

I have settled with full body transparent protectors as of now. I'll wait for the best glass protector to cover the entire screen. Currently, this full body protector is satisfying me.

How far on either side beyond the LCD does it extend? I looked at it yesterday and couldn't convince myself to pull the trigger.

After I tried the Belkin and I wouldn't recommend it. It is a fingerprint and slime magnet. I prefer Spigen glass, Anker, or Zagg much over it.

I have to point out that each person is different in how their touch will react to any screen protector. I have no real problem with any screen protector due to the nature of my skin. I am recommending the Belkin due to fit and being able to have  install it in a professional manner. I have also heard firsthand of some of the problems with the Zagg currently. I have had issues with Spigen cracking for no reason. I can not speak for Anker.

Not disagreeing with you or your POV. Just trying to let you know why I will continue to recommend the Belkin. Thanks!

I just confirmed with friend and she said it covers the little area of LCD. Even told me better than the Zagg.

My Belkin from Apple did not cover each side of the LCD. About a .5 to 1 mm short on each side.

I am not usually a fan of glass ones, I usually get the crystal films, but so far nothing I've seen extends at all beyond the LCD, and some don't even do that. Right now I have my last 6/6S one on, which BARELY covers correctly. The cutouts are just barely right (the earpiece is the big one that's just barely off...but I got it lined up somehow on the mark), but again, right at the edge of the LCD and not beyond, which makes me nuts.

I took the Belkin off. I know firedept recommends it. But it doesn't cover the LCD correctly. It doesn't not even with apples installing machine. It's cut short on the sides. It's also a finger print magnet. Other threads here about screen protectors and other are complaining of the same issue. May favorite has always been Spigen. Mine has never cracked or any issues. They fit the screen without any light leaking through the edges like Belkin and Spigen is very fingerprint resistant compared to most. And I've tried many. Spigen is $7.99 for a 2 pack on Amazon. Anker is a great 2nd choice. I believe around $8-10 on amazon for 1.

Those are the crystal ones I almost always buy, actually. The ones that are out now definitely cover beyond the LCD even if it's just a mm or so?

The ones I used were all glass so if it's a film version I can't comment on them. The only ones I had issues with not covering appropriately is the Belkin. They were cut a tad to short on the sides.

Are they not cut like that due to the beveled/rounded edges?

I don't do screen protectors anymore. I'm never happy with them and it ruins the look of the phone. I have always done fine without them.
