Cool Returned my Note7 and plan to get an iPhone 7

Just returned my Note 7 because of the recall and plan to get an iPhone 7 instead. The click-less home button interests me more~ If iPhone 7 features wireless charging, I will 100% get one without hesitation

I doubt the 7 will support wireless charging. But who knows!

Somehow I doubt we'll see a capacitive home button, at least this year, or wireless charging. The only thing I'm really betting on is Apple moving to USB-C on the iPhone this year. We'll find out tomorrow.

But how would USB Type-C be able to handle the various accessories that the iPhone and iPad support? How would it handle the output of the audio to devices such as car stereo decks? I know that when I plug my iPhone into my Pioneer head unit in my car the iPhone sends it a pure digital signal across the Lightning connector.

I don't know what is the advantage of having wireless charger.....
I own S7 and have no plan of using it.

Wireless charging but must place ur phone on charging pad all the time is pointless, it's no different to a charging dock.

Honestly I don't think Apple will go the wireless route... considering its a pretty useless feature in my opinion.

Newer GM vehicles(& assuming other brands) have wireless charging pads built into the center console. In that instance, wireless charging would be a great benefit. But aside from that, would otherwise agree with you. Though not thinking iphone will get wireless charging until 2017 if any of the rumors are true.

Aren't wireless charging pads technology specific? Not all are cross compatible. There would be no guarantee that an iPhone would work with it, of course.

I'd take quick charging over wireless all day

I believe the GM vehicles support both PMA & Qi. Would assume other mfg's do as well? Wireless Charging
Also found an adaptive wireless charging case for iphone that is suppose to work with both formats. Though did not research it much.

I honestly don't see the advantage of wireless charging, you still have to place it somewhere for some time while it charges, same as with the charging cable. If it can charge while being used near by or just being able to use it while it charges without extra cases and other accessories then that would be great.

who knows you might get you wish and honestly i say a commercial for a new for a Lexus NT that offers wireless charging and the iPhone was the go to phone and that iPhone looks similar to the renders that are on the net for the iPhone 7. Keep your figures crossed.
