I woke up this morning and saw last night forgot to put my phone on the charger. I use the Belkin 2.5 because it charges faster. It proved it this morning. Phone was at 48% when I plugged into charger at 7 this morning. It's 8:30 and is at 97%. I don't think that's a bad time frame not being "fast wireless charging". That's actually pretty close to fast wireless charging when I was using Samsung.
The larger power brick whether using from Belkin or your iPad will definitely charge your phone faster than the brick that comes with your phone.

Interesting. I've used the OEM charger and my iPad charger on my iPhone and really don't notice a difference. Then again I don't monitor it either. Maybe I should time it once just to see.

Thanks for the heads up.

There's evidence that it charges quicker and is used by some members of our forum

It's more a matter of power. 1 amp, as you get in the standard iPhone block, won't charge as fast as 2.1 amps, which you get in the standard iPad block. Apple also doesn't recommend using higher than 2.1 amps on the iPhone. I'm not an electrician so I can't explain in detail how amperage affects speed of charging, however I can tell you that the higher the amperage the more power there is.

Ive never seen a half amp charger from apple.
The standard wall plug that comes with them are all 1 amp.
The iPads come with 2.1amp.

My 6s Plus original charger: 1 amp.
The input is 0.15 amp, though.
