Old iTunes apps showing when I connect new iPhone 7 Plus to iTunes. Strange.

Hey, All....

I used to have a work phone that was an iPhone 4. I synched that with iTunes ONE time about 3 or so years ago. I have since uninstalled iTunes.

The other day i reinstalled iTunes so that synch my new iPhone 7 plus. After synching it, I noticed the old apps/home screen layout from my old iPhone 4 phone showed up as if it was allowing me to install those apps or manipulate them.

They didn't sync with my new phone or anything, but why were they even there?

The new phone uses a new email, new Apple ID and everything.

I can understand if some files stayed in the computer after uninstalling iTunes but I don't like the face that they showed up when my NEW phone was connected. That could get messy and frustrating.

Any thoughts?

iTunes stores a local copy of your backups, which means on your computer. So if you delete iTunes but not entirely, or don't get rid of the backups (deleting iTunes' app itself doesn't uninstall it), backups will still be there.

Ok, understandable. I just don't like that that stuff shows while I'm navigating my new phone, ya know?
