Transfer whatsapp chats from Android and Blackberry 10 to Iphone7+ URGENT.

Hello,

Me and my friend got Iphone 7+ I have a Blackberry Passport and he has an Android.

We are having difficulties transferring our chats from our phones to Iphone.

Please advise .

Its Urgent as we are traveling and need to change the phones ASAP.

I'm not sure if this is possible, you could try to export your chats from andriod and mail them to yourself so you can figure it out later.
And, is it really that important to keep all the old text? If you have the backup, you can always search through it and filter the most important things out.

Yea I know the mailing option but I am looking for the option to have the chats in my phone and it is important

If you have three phones, have your friend resend/forward all the messages when you have your card in the new phone. Then have him switch to the new phone and do the same.

I don't use it but on Android, I helped a friend backup WhatsApp to Google drive. Does WhatsApp on the iPhone allow import from Google drive?

If you mean SD card, then no, it doesn't

I meant simcard. When you connect your new phone, messages will arrive there. If you friend uses his old phone to resend the messages you'll have them on the iphone. Can be a bit laboursome, but it might just work.


I dont think iPhone imports from google drive.
On iPhone you can have messages backed up in iCloud. But that doesn't help you atm.
