Sound on the 7 Plus

I have a 6S Plus and am thinking about going for the 7 Plus. I like the water resistant feature and the speakers. My question is how is the sound on the 7 Plus? Is it louder than the 6S? What about earpiece volume? Does the phone come with the adapter for attaching headphones? I have the beats bluetooth wireless but I like using the cord so I know I'll use the adapter. Thanks in advance

The sound on 7 plus is perfect. Loudee than 6S. Yes the phone comes with the adapter for attaching headphones and lightning usb. I don't advise buying 7plus if you are using 6S plus. If i were you i wait for next year for 7s or 8.

The seven plus is wayyy louder than my 6s plus ever was. I have no problems telling someone they should upgrade. All around it's a better phone in my opinion

I love watching YouTube in Stereo without headphones on. Much louder device.

I bought both a 7, and a 7 plus to compare the sound. Myself, and 2 others compared side by side in blind test : same volume, same song and the plus sounds about 20% "clearer" is the consensous . The 7 might be slight louder (strange), but also slightly tinnier. Either one is a huge upgrade for sound from the 6S..

Multiple professional reviewers are noting that audio quality thru the lightening dongle is below the quality of the standard wired connection on the 6 plus. CNET is recommending a portable DAC to compensate.
