Its funny in most videos you see the apple people going around with a cloth and wiping the jet black phones off.

Exactly lol, that's what I was trying to catch was the smudges. In one video I watched the guy touched the phone on the stand and they had someone come running over to wipe it.

I am still getting jet black just wipe it off like we did when we had iphone 4, 4s, and if anyone has used a galaxy note 5 and 7 which I have. Its not that deep just wipe the phone off crap most of us do it everytime you pick the phone up anyway because incase you didn't notice the screen is a finger print magnet regardless of the finish on any phone.

a lot of high end devices today have glass backs and while they do look very nice before you touch it, afterwards, it looks a mess lol ^_^

thats why i love Blackberry devices and the V10. They have soft touch textures on the back. Which makes the device feel grippy but also no fingerprints lol

Agree. Not a fan of the all glass backs. Loved the feel of the v10 back. Wish more manufacturers would go that route rather than glass which scratches and breaks easier.

I was okay with the 4/4S having the glass back. Particularly because I used Apple's bumper case on each model. I thought it was a beautiful design and it wasn't hard to every now and then wipe off the smudges as it was for me on the 3GS.

Matte black will be the way to go based on those photos. Minor scratches/abrasions are going to be real. Come Xmas time I'm sure we'll see threads about people complaining about their Piano black worn finish.
