What's significant/special about Rhinoshield protector?

The impact protection vs. nothing and vs. the tempered glass I'm using now. Since I do hiking/outdoor stuff I want as much screen protection as I can get. Yes I have Apple Care+ (don't know what the deductible is offhand for a display) but I'd rather spend $10 on the protector (when bought with the case vs. $25 standalone purchase) and not have to deal with lost time/use taking the phone in for a new screen.

Did you buy the standard or custom? I'm wondering if the custom ones have a little more grip than the standard with the image pressing.

I purchased the regular Playproof in black and just did not like it. Seriously felt like a cheap $2.00 case to me.

I work in a hospital too. I clean my phone fairly regularly though, so I'm not overly worried about it. The lifeproof was something I got due to living on a farm.

You don't worry about critters coming home buried in your leather? Maybe I really am a germophobe.
