iOS 10.1 battery drain

After getting iOS 10.1 I notice battery draining fast.Can someone help?

Restore the device and then set it up as new is my recommendation. Hopefully, other members will reply with their recommendations soon.

Even just a hard reset will probably work, hold home and start button till Apple logo appears then let go.

Yes, I updated Friday and since my battery life has been drastically reduced. I took the advice from the iMore staff and did the reset, we'll see if that improves things. The 6s has served me well without exception to this point, if this doesn't work, hello Apple Care.

Mine did that way when I first got on iOS 10 beta. I did a hard reset and swiped a few suspect apps out of multitasking. Does fine now.

One thing that helped me was turning "Share My Location" off.

The reset did the trick, closed all apps and did the hard reset. The battery is running like it should, thanks iMore.

Great! Probably not neccessary to close all apps. But there was most likely one or two causing the issue.

iOS 10.0 was killing the battery, 10.1 drains it. There is always something. Better get used to it

What about those of us who hasn't experienced any excessive battery drain with iOS 10 and subsequent iOS versions?

No battery drain here. If anything, iOS 10.1 has been the best battery I've ever seen compared to any OS I've ever had.

just turned off. Any 10.1.1. experience so far?

Updated yesterday. Battery seems better than ever. no problem at all.
