Call forwarding not working on iPhone 6s

We I used to enable call forwarding on my iPhone 5s it worked fine, I toggled the switch on typed in the number and Everything was fine. Now on my iPhone 6s I toggle call forwarding on then enter the number but can't save it, then I go back to the call forwarding screen the number disappears and call forwarding switch toggles off. It's quite irritating because I've been very busy recently and my phone won't stop ringing, I need to sort my phone so I can forward calls to my voicemail when I'm working.

Welcome to iMore! This could be a carrier problem. Have you checked with them?
