Gotta love the contrast with the charcoal silicone case

This is the reason why I always go for black or midnight blue when it comes to Apple Leather Cases

My midnight blue almost looks black at this point. My saddle brown has gotten a lot darker but I don't mind the patina. It's still my favorite case!

My midnight blue leather also looks black. I agree with Rob, the brown ones get a nice look to them without looking like they're ruined.

Silicone look new for quite a bit longer :)

The brown one does look nice over time.

The reason why I don't go for silicone despite it looking nice is because of how it attracts dust

My Apple Saddle Brown Leather case has aged beautifully. It looks great. My two other Apple Leather cases still look new because I don't use them that much.

I used to use cases but since it takes away the design of the smartphone I now decided just to use a screen protector (the cheapest I can find since they are all the same) because the phone only breaks from the glass (expect iphone 4/4S of course). But I understand why people use it.

There was a time I would only use Apple leather cases, never even tried an Apple silicone case. Then I bought one.....it's too comfortable to replace.
