Lag with phone app

Has anyone one else noticed a delay within the phone app? It doesn't happen all the time but it happens almost daily.

After I choose my contact to call there is a 2 sec delay before the phone moves to the call in progress screen. When it happens you end up screwing up the the call in progress.

Because of the lag. I end up trying to press call again. Which end up muting call or putting on hold.

No the end of the world but kind of a pia.

Let me clarify. The lag just caused double presses. Not just mute hold etc.

I've done it twice this year. Once with my iP 5 and once with my new 6s Plus. Glad I did both times.
