How can I get my phone to chime and light up when I get notifications?

Message notification

New here and new to Apple. I have been struggling with Blackberry and tried out the I Phone 6s and bought it straight away and love it. The only part I miss is a message notification light. I have the chime but is it possible to get a flashing light also? Thanks in advance and sorry to bother you all.

It's buried, but yes... Settings\General\Accesibility\LED Flash for Alerts

Yes, what SnapThrow said will work. Just to let you know though it will be on the back as it is the camera flash and not on the front.

It depends entirely on how much you miss the red blinking light.
