Thank you for re-sizing the image! It's one of my favorites, and I had it for quite some time on my Android until I got my iPhone. I know how to do it now, but you should of seen me having a hissy agonizing over how to get it from the S4 over to the 6S on the first night I had the phone hehe.

If you need to resize images, this is the app I use to do so.

I try to arrange my home screen in a way which it doesn't distract me. I love reading too, and productivity, which explains the apps.ImageUploadedByTapatalk1453268132.528634.jpg

I'm not sure if that works or how that person did it but I know if you place an app on the home screen by itself (has to be one of the apps found under the Restrictions menu) and then turn that app off, the apps all stay where they are.

For instance in the screen shot below I have only Safari on the first screen, but in Restrictions I turned it off. So it hides the icon and the page appears blank.

I simply moved all my apps over. I never heard of turning apps off.

Yeah I just now saw that clearing them all out works. I was on android during ios8 so I wasn't aware that it changed.

I discovered the turning apps off thing purely by accident because on my kids iPod touches I turn off Safari, App Store, and iTunes in Restrictions so I can better control what they are doing with their devices.

That's good to know. I've never been brave enough to try it after spending a half hour moving everything only to have all the apps jump back.

Just did it. I had just the camera icon on the home screen, then moved it into a folder on the bottom bar, and the other icons on the other pages stayed put! Nice!!!

I didn't know you could have your home screen w/o any apps on it? On my old phone, when I tried this, all the apps on the other pages just rolled over onto the home page...

Yes, as others have said, it was introduced in iOS 8. You can have the first page empty, but I don't believe any others an unless you jailbreak.
