    Hi all

As I said in the previous thread that I'm new to apple and I'm in love with my iPhone 6s Plus in space grey .
I'm looking for a beautiful case that compliment this piece of hardware. i'm looking for something that doesn't add much bulk, something simple and minimalist. Either transparent or black, and ideally one that leaves the volume buttons uncovered.

Any recommendations? Thank you in advance for taking time to read this.

I'm using a Peel case right now and love it. It's virtually invisible on my 7 Plus. www.buypeel.com

I'm gonna say good luck finding cases that leave the buttons open. The Rhinoshield CrashGuard is a bumper only case, offers 11.5 foot drop protection. Other than that, minimalist cases include the Apple cases and Spigen makes some good thin cases. There is the option of skins, getting a clear skin to add some grip.

I ended to use    leather case, pricy, but like it (trying to justified myself to spend lot for cases)

I love their picture and websites, but being watched some review from youtube, it's not too recommended in quality wise

Apple silicone or leather. Doesn't add much bulk and offers decent protection.

Apple Silicone for sure. No idea about the leather though. It might be as good as the silicone.

I like the Apple leather case. It's minimal bulk, and provides enough grip without being-impossible-to-remove-from-jeans-pocket-attract-all-the-lint grippy.

I use the Insignia case from Best Buy on my work 6 plus, and my personal iPhone 7. They are super cheap (9.99). The case is very thin, but I have had it on my 6plus over a year. I work outside and have dropped my phone several times. Never had any damage. Tried all kinds of cases but always come back to this one. I actually used my old iPhone 6 case on my 7. Just cut out the camera hole so it fit around the camera, looks terrible but I'll buy a new one at Best Buy soon. Good luck!

Caudable The Veil is really thin and clear. Its a great case. It will not protect much though.

I think the apple leather case is pretty minimal, as manufactured by hardgraft https://hardgraft.us/products/fuzzy-iphonecover

I was at the Apple store recently, checking out the iPhone 7, in particular the fit in my jeans' pocket (front, of course!).

The sales associate saw the case on my phone and got one of the silicone cases. Very slim case, slim over all combo, and I got it in and out of my pocket easily. It didn't seem to me to be a lint magnet, though it wasn't glossy smooth like some silicone cases.

If I upgrade, it's an Apple Silicone and a Leather case for me. Slim, good fit, non-slip, acceptable price.

Im using Caudabe the Veil XT and I love it! Beautiful and the fit is incredible. Highly recommend for the minimalist. And DOES leave the buttons exposed and also the bottom of the phone is covered with the XT, as opposed to the regular Veil. It is is cut for every port, speaker holes, etc so precisely it's amazing.

I have had really good luck with the "Spigen Thin Fit iPhone 6S Plus Case with Premium Matte Finish Coating for iPhone 6S Plus / iPhone 6 Plus - Crystal Clear" (that's exactly how the name appears on Amazon).

It's really slim, but actually saved my phone from a few decent drops. I was surprised, it was more protective than I expected. I'm on my second one (because I dropped the first one so many times it eventually cracked and fell apart, which was to be expected). They are inexpensive, and I found they had good scratch resistance. Also since they are a hard case, rather than flexible TPU, they don't get yellow over time.

It does leave the bottom of the phone pretty much uncovered, so it doesn't protect the bottom very well. The upside is that you never have issues with charging cables or headphones, no matter how bulky the connector may be.

Another good, inexpensive brand I found on Amazon is "Akna", but those are pretty stylized. They are very well made, and slim.

You're probably gonna find this funny but check your local Dollar Tree. The have a bunch of thin cases with the buttons open for a buck. Plus some glass screen protectors too.

I recently got the Caudabe Synthesis in addition to the Veil XT to have something with a little more protection. If you are a minimalist but need a little extra sometimes you will love the Synthesis. It is not at all bulky and the transparent back is textured in such a way that it completely prevents finger prints and adds a nice tactile feel. I really love this case a lot! It's very attractive and feels great! Just right to be slim and protective. The Synthesis and the Veil are all you need, in my opinion.

If you're still looking for a thin case that has the buttons exposed, I highly recommend the Evutec Karbon S (not the SI) https://www.evutec.com/index.php/pro...o-cut-out.html. At 0.7mm thin, this is the thinnest case I've used that's still functional. I've used similar cases to the Evutec, but the way the bottoms of those other cases were cut wound up hurting my fingers when the phone was resting on them, like they were cutting off circulation.
I see people mentioning the Veil XT and cases similar to that, but the issue I've had with those cases is that, since the case is so thin and smooth, the cutouts for the buttons were flush with the actual buttons, and it was hard for me to press power or volume buttons without looking at my phone.
The second case I would recommend is the Spigen Liquid Crystal, but this case has the buttons covered (but the feedback of those buttons are amazing).
    I hope that helps.
