Default Field Test Mode can't be disabled

    Hi!

I'm running on 9.3 and whenever I try to disable Field Test Mode (so have the signal strength in numbers), by typing the usual '*3000*12345#* Call', here's what it does:

Anybody knows why or how to disable it?

Just tried on my iPhone6 and got a Verizon "sorry your call can't be completed as dialed" error...

Edit... Tried copy/paste of the code into the phone screen... That worked...

Try *3001#12345#* - you need the # in the middle... Not the *

Why delete it? Can't you tap it to change it to dots?
I always copy and paste the number from Notes.

I indeed can, but I have to do that in every app I open, it's a PITA!

Mine stays the same no matter what app I'm in. Never heard that.

You're lucky. Mine is apparently app dependant.
I did the suggested correction and it worked!
