Why isn't my 6s plus adding mail?

6s plus not adding mail

My iMac shows mail in my inboxes - my phone shows I have no messages (NONE for two days now)

Welcome to iMore! You don't offer much info. New phone? New email account? Has it worked before? Maybe you entered the email in wrong in Settings. Try going to Settings > Mail, Contacts and Calendar > your email account > delete account > add the email back in. Be sure to use the correct credentials.
