Plugged in phone overnight delivery work up to a paperweight

Plugged my phone in overnight to charge and woke up to my phone stuck in recovery. Tried everything imaginable to fix on forums and posts. Checked with apple care and 3rd party software. Had to get a replacement phone within 2 months of it new. Point to make clear I am a tech junkie and handle all my stuff with care including screen protector and cases. Anyone else have this issue? Only thing to work was iTunes seeing it. But no matter where or what I did it errored within 5 seconds of trying to format.

Those things happen, although rare. There's always a few lemons. Fortunately, Apple is good about replacements.
