Ringtones stopped working

Hi guys. I just got my iPhone 6s Plus and I have ringtones that I bought from the iTunes Store but all of the sudden the ringtones for my text messages stopped working and it goes back to a default text tone from the phone.
Can anyone tell me how to fix the problem!!??

Happened to me a lot when iOS 9 came out. Here's a fix that worked for me, just Assign all the ringtones again. If that doesn't work try a hard reset

I just had a similar with the default ringtones for text messages on my 6s+. They also just stopped working. Rebooting the phone solved the problem -- at least for now.

Thank you guys. I have done both and it keeps going back to the default. I will try rebooting again and see if that works..... Thanks again!
