How many of you are considering moving up to 128gb?

When the new iPhones were announced I decided that I would upgrade from the iPhone 6 to the 6s+. I'm ready for the larger screen but now I am second guessing if 64gb will be enough. With the new improvements to the camera and 4K capability (I'm a photographer) I'm worried that 64 will run out fast. Granted I do not use my iPhone as my professional camera but I do use it every day. I am currently using about 40gb of my 64gb. I'm not a huge fan of cloud storage and I really don't want to worry about dumping my pictures and videos every couple of weeks. Anyways, I think I have made up my mind and will pony up for the 128gb. I am wondering with the new features in the "S" model if anyone else is in the same boat. Less than two weeks!

I ordered a 128GB 6s+ -- I had a 128GB 6 until a few weeks ago when I switched to T-Mobile. I knew I was going to get the 6s+ so I basically took a temporary 16GB 6+ from T-Mobile. I used that for one day and when I got my first message that I was out of memory after taking a 1080p/60fps video I went back to the store and traded it for a 64GB. I have 18k+ photos in Apple Photos and I use Apple Music and Match, and I have been judicious about the apps and data I have installed on this 64GB model and I'm still under 10GB free. Clearly I am the use-case scenario for the 128GB model... especially with 4k video, Live Pics, etc...

Not me. 64 gb will be plenty for me to last 2 years. But I don't have much music. It's also a big increase for me, going from 16 to 64. 128 gb would just be a waste of $100 for me.

I did. Sold my iPhone 6 (64GB), preordered the 6s with 128GB. I am forecasting using it a little more than I did my 6. I may put music on it unlike I've done with my previous models. I'll also be using that 4k video too. For me, it'll be worth having the extra space.

I hear you, but for me $100 to hopefully never have to think about memory management on my iPhone is well worth it. Whatever the case, I love this time of year and getting a new iPhone!

Last year I was really excited to get the 64gb for the same price that I had been paying for the 32gb the previous two years. I think it is the 4K video support that makes me think I need the 128Gb in my back pocket.

I have the 128gb 6 Plus now and ordered the same in the S version. I will never go back to a smaller version from here forward.

I briefly considered it. Then I remembered that I have a 128GB iPad that has never come close to reaching capacity... so I went with my 64GB model.

If I come close to 128 by when the 7s comes out, then I may upgrade to that then.

Not here. I've always had the 16. This year when to 64 because it's been the first year I've had to jockey apps around and remove photos. 64 should be more then enough to put it all back and have plenty to continue.

I was actually considering going down to 16gb since I'm only using about 10 of my 64 on my 6. I figured with the 4k video and live photos I should stick with the 64.

I considered it for a few minutes but I also tried to think of what I would do with all the extra space. I couldn't think of anything so I decided to stick with the 64GB.

128 all the way for me. I keep 4000+ songs on my phone along with a large iCloud photo library. I have under 30gb free on my 128gb iPhone 6 now so I don't have much of a choice but to stick with that capacity :)

I thought about it because of the 4k videos and then realized, I don't take many videos either way it goes. If I have to film one 4k video, I'll shoot it and edit it on iMovie - straight to YouTube. Lol

64gb should still be enough for me. I have 24gb left on my 6 plus, after I deleted some apps I didn't need.

Yeah that is me as well. I considered it for about 10 seconds and considering that I have an phone now with 128GB and don't use but around 50GB, it just not worth the additional $100. Even with the larger 4K video and Live Photos. I am very good at keeping most of my stuff in cloud and/or off loading onto my home server.

Same here. It's not necessarily what I will accumulate over the next year or two years, but what I've accumulated over the years that I now have the room to keep on my iPhone without having to worry about managing space or using iCloud. 128gb or more from now on.

I went 128GB because now that I'll have a really good camera, I anticipate that I'll use it more often than I have with my Moto X 2013. Plus, I want to be able to store as much music as I want. I'm making a huge jump from a 16GB phone, but I just don't want to have to worry about managing storage.

Downgraded actually. I have the 128gb iPhone 6 now and just have tons of unused space just because I wanted to play it safe. Based on how much space I've used on his phone, I ordered the 64gb 6s plus. That way my AT&T bill can stay around the same with the Next plan.
