LED Screen

So I am sure someone else has noticed, but Apple's site says the display is an LED screen, not LCD like the last few. I hope I am not wrong here but won't this give us deeper blacks, better battery life and an overall better display and experience. I assume the 3D Touch stuff will probably use up more battery than the non 3D touch stuff, but since they have integrated so many battery saving things in iOS 9 I feel like it will be a wash. I am completely fine with it being the same as my 6 Plus lasts nearly 2 days every time I charge it even with my Apple Watch connected to it 24/7

Hmm...could have sworn they were LCDs lol oh well. Still cool.

They are LCD's...they are backlit with LED's.
