Easily broken?

I've been noticing a crazy ammount of people breaking or cracking their iphone 6 screen. I'm curious if it's alot more fragile than the iphone 5.

Nope, but the display is not indestructible. I assume those people are blaming the device and not themselves for the broken displays?

Comparing the 5 to the 6 i think the 6 has a bit more potential to break the glass. If you look at the two screens you will notice the 6 has more of a wrap around effect so the entire sides and corners are more likely to hit something vs the 5 which was more squared off.
Its also a larger phone as well so more surface area to get damaged.

The 6 has as good or better screen than the 5. Neither compare to more recent phones, including the 7. However, the only reason the 6 might be more susceptible to breakage is the fact the screen extends all the way to the edges. A Speck candy shell and ballistic glass will all but eliminate the posibility, all from Amazon for under 20 bucks.
